Summer 2022 brought a great new place to eat in Hot Springs: Southern Hills Mercantile and Taproom offers local beers and kombuchas on tap, with savory small plates and entrees to eat.
The Mercantile is operated by the same owner as Buffalo Dreamer, and they’ve brought the same creativity to the Mercantile menu. Many local ingredients are used in menu items, and you can also just stop in and pick up some fresh bread, butter, meats, and other local foods from their cooler.
Southern Hills Mercantile and Taproom is located at 445 N. River Street, next Minnekahta Coffee and just a four-minute walk from The Evanston Suites.
They are primarily open 2-8 PM Wednesday through Sunday (kitchen closes at 7:30 PM), but visit their Facebook page or website to confirm hours and see their latest menus.
